To the People of Colorado,
Seasons Greetings
In my many years as an activist facilitating the Freedom movement I have tried on and worn out many different perspectives, many of which though presented as a silver bullet, were later dashed together with my false hope. I remember on more than one occasion fervently believing that the right tweaking to the latest argument or the more perfect remedy was right over the next hill, and if we could only see over the top . . . During this time I have shared with many both "the thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat," the exhilaration of pure joy, only to be followed by the crushing disappointment of heartache, the despair of failure. Too many times have I heard stories of this or that patriot being successful at something, from a radically new procedure to a commercial remedy, only to discover that the story had no basis in fact, but instead was merely an exaggerated rumor.
Over the years I have had the privilege of meeting and walking with many great men and women of both vision and passion who have come and gone, who have courageously paved the way of understanding by trial and error, adjusting and sharing their respective techniques and procedures in an attempt to make a substantive difference via sound constitutional argument or other avenues both in and out of the courts, only to be denied for miniscule, arbitrary or capricious reasons. Though deriving no pleasure from it, I am comforted knowing that even top-notch professional lawyers are denied remedy when they also get too close to the truth via arguments challenging power and money, the most recent of which are those currently being denied access to America's highest court for want of standing; cases challenging the qualification of President-Elect Obama to seize the world's most powerful office-comforted in knowing that though lonely I am far from being alone, and though the rudimentary principles of Freedom are being ignored by government agents, the beat of them resonates in the hearts of many concerned Americans. Let us not dishonor the many who have gone before us, who have fought for us, or who have sacrificed all to bring us the truth, by turning away from the fight at what appears to be America's darkest hour.
As we enter this New Year this nation's economy appears likely to be on its last leg, and notwithstanding the saber rattling, the abysmal leadership demonstrated by the People's government suggests that the likelihood of economic or governmental recovery without external intervention of some kind, is at best dismal. But the mere threat of the collapse of the United States and its economy in its current form does not necessarily mean the end of the American People, or their Freedom. Rather, may the threat itself be the impetus, the shot heard round the world awakening the American people from their matrix of denial, ignorance and delusion, and propelling the peaceful revolution to a non violent movement reversing the present trend toward absolute despotism.
To this end Bob Schulz is calling for the convening of a Continental Congress. His vision, which I share, is to exercise the unalienable right endowed on all of us by the Creator, a right held by America's Founders to be a self-evident truth, to peaceably assemble, an adjunct of the right to petition for redress of grievance, to the end of addressing significant constitutional violations by government officials, and to discuss the possibility of applicable measures to effect remedy of these violations. This call may well be the People's last chance, their last hope to address the issues, as should we fail we face the likelihood of experiencing the intolerable situation of a fascist police state from which there may be no recovery.
In behalf of Bob and his vision, I implore us all to agree to set aside our fear and doubt, our perspectives and opinions, our biases and differences, and in agreement pray, as one, for the rise and empowerment of America's true leaders, truth-loving and courageous men and women whomever and wherever they may be, to stand and be recognized, to provide a stable, collective voice of truth calling the agents of the government of the United States to honor their Sovereign, the American People, by turning the ship of state away from its destructive course.
You are cordially invited to join us at 7:00 on the evening of Wednesday January 14, 2009, (venue to be announced) to hear the vision for a Continental Congress and discussion pertaining to a means of enforcing the Constitution against a rogue government.
May America's integrity be restored to being one nation under God, indivisible and United in hope that our Father's sovereign hand would direct us to a peaceable remedy.
Sincerely yours,
David Justice
