Right, or Easy

What are we waiting for?

Someone to show us the way?

He already did,

but we, as yet,

still fail to understand 

the sacrifice.

Modern Christianity,

no matter the denomination,

teaches the 

take it easy gospel.

Would the apostles even 

recognize it?

The Master taught:

"All men will hate you

because of me."
Matthew 10.22; Mark 13.13; Luke 21.17

and that

men would kill you

and think they did

God a service.

John 16.2 

"Then shall they 

deliver you up to be afflicted, 

and shall kill you: 

and ye shall be hated 

of all nations for

my name's sake."  

Matthew 24.9

This is no easy gospel. 

Yahshua told the truth,

And was murdered for it.

His apostles were murdered for it.

His martyrs demonstrated for it.

Are modern Christians so special

That we believe ourselves exempt?

Taking a stand for the truth

will likely get us imprisoned, 

even murdered. 

It should always be 

a good day to die.

 "For whosoever 

will save his life 

shall lose it; 

but whosoever 

shall lose his life 

for my sake 

and the gospel's, 

the same shall save it."

Better to count the cost
than count yourself
a Disciple!
