Tolerance Levels

Everyone has a different tolerance level.

Some are more tolerate to pain than others.

 Ask a dentist.

Some are extremely sensitive.

Put us all together in a society,
in a collective,
and we, together as a people,
have a tolerance level.
To some, American government 
crossed the line long ago,
while others are oblivious 
that there even is a line.

What then, are the determining factors,

the circumstances, the events,

constraining a People

to agree together as one
to cease being tolerant

of a criminal government?
What does the line look like?
Is it even a line?

Do we wait

until everyone becomes more uncomfortable

being tolerant than resisting?
If we wait for this ambigious time,
evil will prevail,
while we look over our shoulder 
and wonder
why we did not act 
when we had the chance.

If now is not the time,

then when?

If not us,

then who?

What is the means to a right end?

That is my only question.
