True Time

Time
is something we add
to our experience
to measure what we project
as
linear reality.
Living
through my person,
I fail to distinguish
what it is
from what I am.
I fail to realize that
I am asleep
living inside my head,
Inside a dream,
a projection
over what is real,
Always perceiving
but never seeing,
that I am
completely
disconnected
from eternity.
What if I were
to start thinking
of reality
in non-linear terms?
In other words,
thinking of eternity
not as future,
but rather as an ever present state.

"Be still and know that I am God."
Psalms 46.10

No time exists
except this present moment,
Nothing exists
outside this moment,this magic moment,
right now
while you are reading this.
Notice that all the thoughts you have
in the background of your mind
when you stop reading this,

are not about anything happening in this moment
right now,
but rather are about something that has already happened
in the past
or in anticipation of something that might happen
in the future.
Both are reflections or dreams.
Both happen within the context of the story you made up
to house your person.

This is no new revelation.
Many have written of this many times.
Here is merely a place to start.
A beginning.
What better place to start
than from right here

When we get "there"
to wherever it is we are wanting to be,
we will be here.
When we arrive here,
we will finally be "there."

Here in this eternal moment,
is where peace is.
Here is the eye of a tempest,
from where the storm is viewed
through the lens of
the present eternity.
From here we can
see and hear truth
an unclouded point of view,
by relinquishing mere perspective
in exchange for truth.
