What am I

What am I?

I know I live.

I know, because I am aware.

If I was not aware,

I would not know,

As I could not know.

I have a body.

It is alive.

Blood flows through its veins.

It breathes.

It came into existence

The moment it was conceived.

When did my existence begin?

Was I alive before my body was conceived?

Did I enter into my body,

From where?

Did I come into existence

with the conception of my body?

Is the essence of life merely animated flesh ?

Am I no more than my body?

And what of my mind?

Am I my mind,

or do I have a mind?

Am I in, or out,

of my mind?

"You saw me before I was born 

and scheduled each day of my life 

before I began to breathe.
