Possibility

The possibilities are endless,
even limitless,
if nothing is impossible
 for those who believe,
Matthew 17.20

If believing is all it takes
to make something possible
that is otherwise considered
to be impossible,
then what is possible
is only as possible
as I believe it is.

The degree to which
I believe something is possible
Is the degree I am able to accomplish
the impossible.

The only limit
as to what is possible,
is the limit I impose on my belief
that it is possible.
This limit is called "doubt."
"For verily I say unto you,
that whosoever shall say unto this mountain,
'be thou removed,
and be thou cast into the sea'
and shall not doubt in his heart,
but shall believe that those things which he saith
shall come to pass;
he shall have whatsoever he saith."
Mark 11:23

You mean it is actually possible to. . . .?
Is it really possible that . . . . ?

Yes,
Absolutely!
This is the gospel truth!
No boundaries,
No limitations.
Liberty!
Its been provided
and demonstrated.
We need only make it so.

Believe it,
Because . . .
Miracles happen!

  1. So few dare to entertain this faith. A few days ago I had a discussion on this very topic with the two Mormon missionaries who visit regularly. Good young men. I enjoy their visits.

One of them took a lighter resting on a table, and put it on my desk. He said,"Make it light."

Change the circumstances a bit, quite a bit really, and he could have said, "Save yourself."

This aspect of the Gospel is beyond the ability of most to believe, so, it's dismissed or rationalized away ... must be figurative ... Christ didn't really mean it. Or, take the young Mormon's explanation.

"We have no power on our own to make anything possible. Only through belief that He can do anything will He do things for us, if it's in His will. All things aren't possible on our own through the faith that all things are possible. That's the true meaning of what He said. We whoul worship His abilities, and not confuse them with our own."

Sigh...... Christ's words were plain, yet they are rationalized and "interpreted" into something else. That something else is "another gospel."
